So, I changed the text, but I’m not sure how I feel about it. I really am clueless when it comes to this for some reason, funny considering how much I write. Does anyone have specific suggestions for the type of text I should use?

Looks good, I do prefer this text to the last version. I might suggest playing with the opacity of the bubbles behind the text, in some places the background is coming forward a little and making it a little harder to read.
