Frozen Dystopia

“Frozen Dystopia” is a comic piece I created for my Comics and Sequential class. The prompt was “Snow Day”, I choose to explore the themes of desolation and isolation in a snowy apocalyptic world.

On Saturday March 21st Will Pottorff and Porter Mills Studios, Trypic Press and Adam Miller hosted Beverly Comic Con 2: Bigger, Badder, Nerdier. This was a great event showcasing some of the best local and regional talent. Montserrat’s Illustration students were there in full force selling their prints, mini-comics, stickers and various other goods. It was a great day and lots of fun. A huge thank you to Andrew Houle for getting us involved, to all the students that contributed goods and to students Kat Rosengarten, Sami Wyckoff, Sayyid Lestrade and Seb Sawyer for running the Montserrat Booth. We are all looking forward to next year already!
