Montserrat has a full comic event just around the corner on June 29th. There will be a full exhibit of comic related works, guest lectures, a panel discussion, a reception, refreshments, music, the works! It’s all happening at the gallery at 301 Cabot.
If you have comic related work and you would like to be part of the show! Drop-off date for work is June 26th at 301 Gallery from noon till 7:00. Work should be your best comic related work, and be ready to hang.
Hanging will be first come first serve for placement, so the earlier the better.
Get in touch with Mr. Adam Miller if you have questions about the event.

Ashcan/Minicomics for Boston Comic Con
April 19, 2013 § Leave a comment
The student’s of Comics and Sequential Art have been hard at work making a series of minicomics for the convention this weekend. The books feature original stories and art from 13 students and revolve around the theme of Secret Scrolls of Power.
Hopefully, all the chaos in Boston recedes and we will be able to continue with the comic related festivities. I think everyone would agree that when events like these unfold it’s nice to escape, and that’s what comics are all about.
The event is at the Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boyleston Street, Boston, Ma and is open to the public from 10AM – 7PM Saturday, and 10 – 5PM Sunday. I believe tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
Montserrat’s table number is AA715.
For more information visit, http://www.bostoncomiccon.com/
Or do a quick search for Boston Comic Con News for updates on the status of the convention.
For Montserrat students; there was transportation from the school to the convention scheduled for Saturday morning. Please check your Montserrat email for updates.
